Jordan 3 - an innovative and revolutionary model

Michael Jordan and Nike's partnership has created many magical sneakers over the years, but not all have been as groundbreaking as the Jordan 3.

After Michael Jordan expressed his dissatisfaction with the previous generation of Nike Jordans, namely the Jordan 2, Nike and Michael Jordan entered into a partnership with the American designer, Tinker Hatfield . Hatfield was reportedly credited by Phil Knight as the person who Phil believed saved Nike's partnership with Michael Jordan and thus the company. It was the start of one of the biggest and most influential things to ever happen in streetwear.

What makes the Air Jordan 3 unique?

Michael Jordan's first collection of the Jordan 3 model was launched in 1988. It was one of the most landmark collections that Nike had launched, and at the same time it set the standard for the entire Jordan line, and a number of other Nike collections. The Jordan 3 contains several of the design characteristics that have since become characteristic of all Jordans. Among other things, it was the first Jordans to carry the iconic and well-known Jumpman logo, which is a silhouette of a pounding Michael Jordan.

The Nike Air Jordan 3 is also known for its Retro Colorways. Black Cement, with a cement grey and black upper, with white and red details. White Cement, which is white with cement grey in the upper part of the shoe and with red and white details. Fire Red, with a mix of white “elephant print” on the upper part of the shoe, cement grey details and the iconic bright red color. The last is True Blue, which has a white “elephant print” upper, cement grey elements and details in “True blue”.
